At the request of my clients, I am attaching both my report of February 3, 2004 (addressed, at their instruction, to President Kieschnick), as well as the opinion letters of two prominent Missouri church-state attorneys, Prof. Carl H. Esbeck, Esq. and Michael K. Whitehead, Esq. Because of your position as one of the leaders in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, my clients request that you take the opportunity to read it carefully, share it with your fellow Lutherans, and assist both President Kieschnick and the Synod with your prayers and support.

Very truly yours,

L. Martin Nussbaum
